Local residents are invited to join the Northwest Missouri State University community for the 11th annual Holiday Tree Lighting at the Memorial Bell Tower.
The program will include remarks by Northwest President Dr. John Jasinski, Maryville Mayor Rachael Martin and Northwest students of different religions. The Horace Mann Laboratory School's Bearcat Choir will also perform.
The Jasinski family annually picks charities to support. This year they are focused on Northwest's Career Closet, the Bearcat Food Pantry, and the Pay It Forward Fund to help the Northwest community.
The Holiday Tree lighting begins at 5:15 on December 3rd at the Memorial Bell Tower.
